Kind Donation for Windows by Mr. Hans Becker

EVS (Evangelischer Verein für die Schneller-Schulen) member, Mr. Hans Becker, surprised us with a very kind donation of € 5,000.00 (Five Thousand Euros) which we received mid-December 2011. This donation is earmarked for the window replacement project of the boarding homes. Since 2006 we have been replacing the old wooden and metal windows of our boarding homes with double glazed aluminum windows. These windows allow us to have warm homes in winter and they reduce our diesel expenditure because of their good insulation. We are only left with two boys boarding homes which still need window replacement. This grant will go to Boys Boarding Home 1 which houses our youngest boys. We will execute this project during the summer holiday of 2012. Mr. Hans Becker was among the EVS group that visited Schneller this year. We express our most sincere gratitude to Mr. Hans Becker for this wonderful surprise and very generous grant. We also thank him for the wonderful work he is doing for our school as a member of EVS.
