Independence Day & Founder's Day Celebrations

The program for celebrating Independence Day and JLSS' Founder's Day was supposed to be held on Friday 23 November 2007, but the crisis over the presidential elections in Lebanon forced us to hold this program on Wednesday 21 November because schools closed on Friday as a precautionary measure. The unexpected holiday made the children much happier and that was clearly seen in their performance. The program included music, singing, poetry, dance, drama, and a gymnastic show. It was a nice program altogether. We express our thanks to all the students and teachers who prepared the program, and we pray that the Lebanese will soon resolve their political differences in order that Lebanon may truly enjoy independence and prosperity to the benefit of all its people.
